July 14: Sleighbells at Z-bar!

If you go see a band but then don’t really SEE them…does that count? It would be more accurate to say we heard them. And they sounded great. The haze in this photograph is from the intense heat in the room that night. We fell back to a comfortable booth with Derek and Amy. The high-energy duo packed the room (Z-Bar) and the crowd loved them, including us! Standing up on the seats, as Amy’s doing here, we could barely see the tops of the band’s heads.
