Kyle and Lisa's Blog: July 28: Show with Kaiser Cartel at Z-Bar

We had the great fortune to play with one of our favorite bands at Louisville’s Zanzabar: Kaiser Cartel. Courtney Kaiser and Benjamin Cartel always sound great and this show was no exception. The first song off their new Secret Transit album, “Carroll St. Station,” was one of Kyle’s summer favorites.

We're Kyle & Lisa Barnett, and we hope this site will help us to keep in touch with our friends in Texas, Indiana, and all over the U.S.

We're now settled in Louisville, KY, where Kyle is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Communication at Bellarmine University, and Lisa is an Accessibility Consultant and User Experience Designer at Humana.

We have a band, which we started in Texas with 3 friends, called Hitchhike. Initially performing here and in Indianapolis as a two-piece, we're back up and running now with Roxell on keys and Sean on bass. We've been playing out a bit, so keep us on your radar!
